Tonight I got myself a little treat, drove over to my local Barnes & Noble, and got Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Other Stories by the incredible Lewis Carroll. Would you believe it if I said they were being sold for a “mere” $20? I was pleasantly surprised with this price. The book, as you can tell, is absolutely beautiful. It even smells beautiful. And yes, I’m one of those folks that adores the smell of new (and old!) books. It’s leatherbound and the illustrations are so much fun.

I’ll admit, growing up Alice in Wonderland wasn’t quite my favorite Disney movie, but then again.. I could never pick a favorite anyway. But I digress, the story has always had me fascinated. I’m still currently reading Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski (which I’m itching to finish), but after I’m through with that one, I’m hopping right down the rabbit hole.
